My Autobiography
Hey, everybody! Name's Joey. I'm not a big "poet," but every now and then I get an idea out of nowhere. I like to play games, hang with my friends and my family and play sports, like football and skateboarding. I was born in Orlando, Florida, in Health Central Hospital, on August 24, 1996. I spent 12 years in Florida, until I moved to Mississippi with my stepmom and my dad. After two great years in the "South," I moved to Texas, where I met the love of my life. After a few months, though, my dad, Wayne, died. He died on Sunday, August 7, 2011, at 8:03, a few weeks before my 15th birthday. Many tears were shed that night. Thankfully, God gave me a wonderful life that I am proud to say is mine, and I continue to live it as full as I can in his honor. When I graduate highschool, I plan on enlisting in the Army and go to college, after which I'll be applying to Ranger School to be a United States Army Ranger. That's pretty much the story of my life (no pun intended), and I'm glad y'all took the time time to read it. Enjoy!
How My Poems Relate to Me
A lot of my poems relate to me through personality or my personal beliefs. These poems weren't all that hard, I just had to sort of "look inside." The hardest poem for me was my sonnet, "My Darling Chocolate Bowl," but it was also my favorite. Anyhoo, this is how my poems relate to me; when you read these, you are kind of learning about who I am, so I'm hoping you think of me as a cool person to be around! Enjoy!v :D
